Organization

Tags

When you save a recording, you can quick-tag it with a type: melody, chords, riff, lyrics, beat, bass, hook, verse, chorus, bridge, intro, idea — or any custom tag. Tags make it easy to filter your library later. Manage all your tags from the tag manager.

Projects

Group related ideas into projects. A project might be a song you’re working on, a writing session, or a collection of ideas around a theme. You can add metadata to projects and export them as ZIP bundles.

Search your library by:

Filter & Sort

Filter recordings by tag, date, duration, or key. Sort by any of these fields to find what you’re looking for quickly.

Batch Operations

Select multiple ideas at once to tag or assign them to a project in bulk. Long-press to enter selection mode, then tap to select. Apply tags or move to a project in one action.

Recently Deleted

Deleted ideas aren’t gone immediately — they move to the Recently Deleted folder where they’re kept for 30 days. Changed your mind? Restore them. After 30 days, they’re permanently removed.

Undo & Redo

Made a change you didn’t mean to? Good Take supports full undo and redo for edits — titles, tags, notes, trim, and more.
